Thank you for using Lockdown (“we”, “us”, or “our”). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We collect only the minimum necessary information to enable subscriptions and provide a functional experience.

a) Subscription Data

We use RevenueCat, a third-party service, to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases. RevenueCat may collect the following data:

Purchase history (e.g., whether a subscription is active)
User identifiers (shared from our app for subscription linkage)

We share user IDs with RevenueCat to associate subscription status with specific users. We do not share any other personally identifiable information (PII). For more information, please review RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.

b) Firebase Authentication and Firestore

We use Firebase Authentication to manage user sign-ins and Firebase Firestore to store app-related data. This includes:

User IDs (used for authentication and app data association)
Session times (tracking the duration and frequency of app use)
Habit data, preferences, and progress

Lockdown does not collect or store personal data on its own servers. All relevant data is either stored locally on your device or securely in Firebase services as described above.

This includes:

Your habit tracking data (session times, goals, progress)
App preferences and settings
Timer and screen usage information

3. Data Security

We take your data privacy seriously. Data stored in Firebase is protected with encryption and Google’s security infrastructure. Local data remains on your device and under your control. We recommend regular device backups to avoid data loss.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the data collected solely to:

Authenticate users
Verify and manage subscription status
Unlock premium features for active subscribers
Track app usage for your benefit (e.g., session history)

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, or profiling.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except the following necessary services:

RevenueCat – for managing subscriptions
Firebase – for user authentication and data storage

6. Your Rights

You remain in full control of your data. If you wish to delete your account or remove your session data from Firebase, please contact us. Note that local data stored on your device must be removed manually by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices. We will notify you of significant updates by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this document.

9. Legal Basis for Processing (EU GDPR)

We process data under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR: processing is necessary for the performance of a contract (e.g., enabling access to premium features). No data is processed beyond what is necessary to deliver core app functionality.
